Nothing that tracks you is loaded until you choose "Accept analytics". If you decline, or ignore the banner entirely, the site works completely normally and no analytics is loaded at all.

Affiliate cookies — set by other companies
When you click a commercial link and leave for a retailer, that retailer or its affiliate network typically sets a cookie so the sale can be attributed to us.
That happens on their website, under their privacy policy, and only if you click. We cannot set or read those cookies. If you never click a commercial link, none are set.
How to control cookies
- On this site: choose "Decline analytics" on the banner. To change your mind later, clear this site's data in your browser and the banner will reappear.
- In your browser: every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, in Settings under Privacy. Blocking all cookies will prevent administrator sign-in but will not affect reading.
- Google Analytics specifically: Google publishes a browser opt-out add-on.
